Privacy
Saturday Morning Software LLC makes apps and games. This page covers this website and each of our apps. Every app has its own section below that says exactly what it collects, if anything, and the same details are on its App Store page.
We only collect what an app needs to work, we never sell personal information, and we say so here before an app that collects anything is released.
This website
- No cookies, no ads and no trackers. Fonts are served from this site.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which tells us how many people came, which pages they looked at and how fast those pages loaded. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you and doesn't follow you to other sites.
- We also count what people do in the living room on our home page, like changing the channel, turning the sound on or watching the screensaver, using PostHog. These counts are anonymous: no cookies, nothing saved on your device, no recordings of your screen, and nothing that ties one visit to another or to you. PostHog throws away the IP address the counts come from. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we don't count anything.
- When you write to us through our contact form, your name (if you give it), your email address and your message are sent to our Apple iCloud inbox as an email, and we use them only to answer you. The website doesn't keep a copy, and we delete the email within a year of answering. On that page only, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a robot, is sending the message; it looks at your browser and connection for that check and isn't used for advertising or to follow you.
- Our web host, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it and who handles it
We use the website's counts and logs to keep the site running, secure and worth visiting, and your contact details only to answer you. A few companies handle this for us, and some of it happens in the United States:
- Cloudflare: hosting, server logs, Web Analytics and the Turnstile check
- PostHog: the anonymous living-room counts
- Apple iCloud: our email inbox
We never sell or share personal information, and nobody uses it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to us through our contact form and we'll answer within 30 days. The living-room counts are anonymous, so there's nothing in them we could find or tie to you. If you're in the EU or UK and aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to your country's data protection authority.
Our apps
We haven't released an app yet. Each one gets its own section here before it comes out.
Purchases
When an app costs money, Apple handles the payment through the App Store. We never see your card or bank details. In apps made for kids, buying anything sits behind a grown-ups' check, so a kid can't buy something by tapping around.
Children
Apps made for kids follow the stricter rules for them, including Apple's Kids Category guidelines and the US children's privacy law (COPPA).
This website is for grown-ups. Kids are welcome to watch the TV with you, but the contact form is for grown-ups only. If we learn that a child wrote to us, we delete the message.
Changes and questions
When we release a new app or change what an app collects, we update this page first. Questions: write to us through our contact form.
